Mitigation Bank CreditsWe have a Wetland Mitigation Bank with over 100 credits available for purchase to service wetland functions lost due to authorized impacts and where on-site compensation is either not practical or use of a mitigation bank is environmentally preferable. The most important distinction between purchasing wetland credits from a mitigation bank and other mitigation options is that a purchased credit transfers responsibility (legal liability) for wetland mitigation development from the permit tee (you) to the mitigation bank owners (us). Our wetland bank credits are an appropriate form of compensation for mitigation of unavoidable impacts to waters (wetlands) of the United States resulting from activities authorized under Section 404 of the Clean Water Act, Section 10 of the Rivers and Harbors Act, and other federal, state or local wetland regulatory programs. With the purchase of wetland credits from our bank, your fill permits are serviced immediately upon a completed transaction.
